Course Objective

The aim of the course is to gain knowladge and skills on fludomechanic features of water and safely applying those features in physiotherapy treatments, provide knowladge about methods of aquatic phsiotherapy and following recent literature.To give information about the properties of thermomineral waters and their use in treatment.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Know fludomechanic features of water and the effects of immersion on human body systems
2   Compare land and water exercises
3   Can define specific aquatic exercise techniques
4   Define terms of thermal medicine
5   Gains knowledge about the types of thermal water treatment and its application.
