Course Objective

To teach the concepts of health and psychosocial health, to inform about psychosocial rehabilitation approaches in different disabled groups

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defines the concepts of health, psychosocial health and biopsychosocial health
2   Knows post traumatic stress disorder, depression and coping strategies
3   Defines disability and disability groups
4   Knows psychosocial rehabilitation in visually impaired, hearing-speech impaired, physically impaired, mentally retarded and in acute/chronic problems
5   Provides the interaction between patient and the family
