Course Objective

Provide the general information in the basic concepts in radiology, radiography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging in basic subjects, extremities, spine and thoracic radiology

1   Describe the basic concepts of Radiology
2   Understanding the basic assessment of extremities, spine, thorax and lung in radiology
3   Learn the basic issues related to soft tissue imaging

1 Physical basis of radiological methods
2 Radiological anatomy: limbs, pelvis
3 Radiological anatomy: spine, thorax
4 Radiologic Pathology: fracture, subluxation, dislocation, neoplasia, atrophy, sclerosis, infection, implants, peripheral nerve lesions
5 Lung pathology and radiology specific cases
6 Regional pathology and evaluation: the cervical and lumbar spine
7 Regional pathology and evaluation: the pelvis and hip
8 Regional pathology and assessment: knee, ankle, foot
9 Regional pathology and assessment: shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand
10 Different pathologies and evaluation: bone, cartilage
11 Different pathologies and evaluation: Nerve, muscle, tendon, ligament
12 Use of diagnostic ultrasonography in physiotherapy
13 Use of diagnostic ultrasonography in physiotherapy
14 General discussion
