Course Objective

The aim is to provide the student with knowledge about common orthopedic pathologies and traumas related to physiotherapy.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of the course students will able to define basic concepts and definitions of orthopaedic terminology
2   At the end of the course students will able to define the description, formation, signs, types, classification, healing, treatment methods and complications of fractures.
3   At the end of the course students will able to define the description, formation, findings and the types soft tissue injuries.
4   At the end of the course students will able to define the most common and predominantly treated by physiotherapists upper extremity pathologies.
5   At the end of the course students will able to define the most common and predominantly treated by physiotherapists lower extremity and spinal pathologies.
