Course Objective

To teach students the definition of the concept of addiction, its types, reasons, how to communicate with individuals with addiction, conceptual frameworks in the literature about addiction, negative consequences of addiction and coping with addiction.

9 Addicted characteristics in internet use, measurement of internet addiction, Internet, game, social network and smart phone addiction signs and symptoms
10 Awareness and coping strategies for students, teachers and families against internet addiction
11 Behavioral Addictions
12 Prevention of addiction

14 Official and non-governmental organizations that can be supported in prevention and response studies according to the type of addiction

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

This course; will be taught in the form of theoretical lectures. The instructor will explain the topics, create an environment for discussion with students in the form of questions and answers, and give students homework to research certain topics.
