Course Objective

It is aimed to learn the methods of taking and storing the soil and rock samples to be tested in the soil and rock laboratory.

1   To be able to classify sampling methods suitable for the field
2   To be able to plan suitable sampling for the field
3   To be able to determine the appropriate experiments that can be performed on the sample taken
4   Learning the storage conditions of samples

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The course involves theoretical lecture and problem solutions related to the subject. The lecture continues in the form of mutual discussion between the lecturer and the students after introduction and basic description of the subject.
