Course Objective

To recognize gabion structures, to recognize and determine the material properties of rocks that can be used in gabion structures and applications, to make the necessary tests of rocks to be used in gabion structures and applications according to TS and ASTM standards and to decide whether the test results can be used in gabion structures and applications

This course will be taught theoretically in the classroom. After explaining the subject, the lecturer will create a discussion atmosphere in the form of questions and answers about the gabion structure and rock properties for the relevant gabion application and will teach the subjects.
