Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to develop the ability that transforms the ideas to design and designs to real objects.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To define general design principles.
2   To collect information about the designed product.
3   To perform the shaping, drying and firing processes.
4   To design an appropriate glaze for the product.
5   To evaluate the design of the product.

1 Design information in relief
2 Determination of the pattern to be designed on the relief
3 Giving the final version of the pattern to be designed on the relief
4 Opening the plate of the pattern to be designed for relief
5 Drawing the pattern to be designed for relief on the plate
6 Shaping the pattern to be designed for relief
7 Shaping the pattern to be designed for relief
8 Mid-term exam.
9 Retouching the dried product with emery
10 Bisquit firing of the product
11 Performing glaze trials for the product
12 Choosing and applying the appropriate glaze
13 Firing the glazed products
14 Making the finished product
15 Making the finished product
16 Assesment of the application.
