Course Objective

To understand the socio-cultural reasons for art, to grasp the positive impact of art on society and the individual, to learn the concepts of basic drawing, proportion and color knowledge.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Ability to list the socio-cultural reasons that create art
2   Ability to define historical stages in the development process of art
3   Ability to understand and apply basic drawing techniques
4   Ability to apply concepts such as basic drawing techniques, proportion, perspective, space and proportion
5   Knowing and applying basic color and light painting techniques in painting
6   Color concept: Being able to understand and apply the formation of color circle colors.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The instructor tries to familiarize his students with the historical development of the art of painting by using the direct expression technique. He explains the lesson and makes them practice using in-class practice drawing and painting methods.
