Course Objective

The aim of the course is teaching 2-dimensional drawing in CAD according to fundamentals of technical drawing. To make it possible to draw plan, cross-sections and aspects for the product in their work by using modern drawing technics.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to learn basic information about CAD System and CAD System.
2   To be able to use drawing geometry and program commands.
3   To be able to apply drawing in two and three dimensional environments.
4   To be able to draw a plan (top view) in computer environment.
5   To be able to draw top, side and perspective views using the given drawing.
6   Ability to convert the given design into a three-dimensional drawing
7   To be able to save and print the given designs in the appropriate format to be printed

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

This lecture will be processed by showing visiual orders in computer laboratuary. Teaching staff will discuss with students by practical drawings after each lecture for a better understanding of subjects.
