Course Objective

Medically important bacteria, diseases caused by them, on issues related to laboratory diagnosis of these bacteria to gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Acquires theoretical knowledge and practical skills about
2   Acquires theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to
3   Have the knowledge and skills to Neisseriaceae isolates, and Corynebacterium spp, and laboratory diagnosis of diseases caused by them.
4   Have the knowledge and skills to Bacillus, Brucella, Bordetella, Haemophilus, Listeria spp, laboratory diagnosis of diseases caused by them.
5   Learn the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge about Mycobacteriaceae family, the basic characteristics of bacteria, clinical laboratory diagnosis.
6   Learn the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge the basic features of the Enterobacteriaceae family, clinical and laboratory diagnosis.
7   Learn the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge the general characteristics of anaerobic bacteria, clinical and laboratory diagnosis
8   Learn the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge the basic characteristics of bacteria, such as Spirochetes, Chlamydia, Riketsiae, , clinical and laboratory diagnosis
