Course Objective

This course aims to teach the necessary techniques to produce large number of products from a product and to provide the combination that can develop the product.

3   To be able to use the identified differences in product integrity
4   To be able to combine differentity with model, pattern, color and fabric combination and support with production techniques
5   To be able to have knowledge to produce the prepared products to ready-to-wear

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 To explain the research methods for preparing a product for selected target group.
2 To determine the difference that will be used in preparing product and to perform the sketch drawings

4 To select the basic models among the performed sketches for the project
5 To determine the color, pattern, fabric and stitching techniques to be used

8 Mid-term Exam
9 To study the draping technique in order to produce one of the models
10 Sewing and transforming the models prepared on drape into a pattern for ready-made clothing
11 Preparing the information on selected models technical drawing, fabric, label and accessories that could be produced in ready-made clothing
