Course Objective |
It is aimed to teach how to make unique designs and how to form a accessories and jewelery collection in accordance with the design criterion including ergonomics and anthropometric in the process from color and fabric studies used in the illustration of accessories and jewelery, which take part within fashion accessories product group to the design and presentation state (thought, draft, sketch, design, material selection and presentation). |

1- The evaluation will be performed by considering the research that the student made related to the assigned Project, his/her performance from the sketch time period to the end of design (producing ideas, revealing creative and unique designs, design analysis within the course and his/her participation to the evaluation time periods intellectually and verbally), conformity of the designs with the project, his/her success in the material election of designs and determining manufacturing techniques, reproducibility and usability of the designs in accordance with the project (ergonomic), conformity of technical and presentation sheets of the designs with the design presentation criteria, |
Assessment Criteria |
Evaluation for all design Project will be carried out in a way to cover the sketch time period as well. Time period of improving sketch and design constitutes minimum 50% of the grading for design. |

Course Policies and Rules |
1. Attendance to 80% of classes is compulsory. 2. All kinds of plagiarizing attempt results in actual disciplinary punishment. 3. In the event that assigned researches, required sketch-design studies etc. are not brought on the date announced by the student, evaluation is carried out as per the mentioned circumstances, however the student is obliged to bring the required materials. Not participating the class will not accepted as an excuse to not fulfilling course obligations. |
