Course Objective

Objective of Course:
The aim of this course is to teach the students the forms and ornamentation techniques in Turkish Art of Tiling and have them learn the history and periodic features of it.

1   know the form and pattern features in Turkish Art of Tiling,
2   know the ornamentation techniques in Turkish Art of Tiling,
3   learn the technical features of different techniques,
4   apply different techniques by different interpretations,
5   prepare a project and present it.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods


This course will be done both theoretically and practical. Practices will be focused on the form and ornamentation techniques in Turkish Art of Tiling. The results will be discussed in the class.
