Course Objective |
To enable the student to be able to recognize the raw materials used in the art of ceramics, classify ceramic and tile products, and learn the methods of preparing and shaping clay. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
In this course, the topics within the program will be covered theoretically with student participation. In addition, students will be able to visually recognize the materials when necessary. |

Further Notes About Assessment Methods |
As it is a theoretical course, lecture notes and resources will be used. In addition, a pottery center will be selected and they will prepare it as a pottery production research project. |

Course evaluation; Midterm exam will be evaluated as project and final exam. |

Course Policies and Rules |
Since the course is theoretical, information about the lesson will be recycled from the students at the end of the lesson, which will teach the student not to lose concentration throughout the lesson. The next lesson subject will be given and preliminary preparation will be requested. |
