Course Objective

It s aimed to teach techniques of Using plaster while making ceramic.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be capable of drawing technical draws of their designs.
2   To be capable of producing model, mold, duplication mold with plaster that are use for producing industrial ceramics.
3   To be capable of defining the shaping methods of plaster.
4   To be capable of choosing the right techniques for forming the plaster of their own designs.
5   To be capable of producing industrial ceramics.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lecturer will guide the students designing useful forms with their technical drawing. The students have to choose the right techniques for making a series of ceramic objects.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Evaluation will be made from creative designing, technical analyzing and technical drawing, precision in modeling and molding, qualification of theoretical researches and presentation files, and exhibiting of the project.
