Course Objective

The aim of the course is to equip students with the skills necessary for academically communicating their knowledge effectively. The students will be informed on the processes of writing and publishing in all forms of academic writing as well as developing teaching and presentation skills. The course is divided into two main parts as oral dissemination and writeen dissemination. In the oral dissemination part techniques realted to teaching and presenting in meetings are covered. In the written dissemination part, the topics related to the processes of academic writing and publishing in all forms are discussed.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Effectively communicate their knowledge through academic means in both oral and in written forms.
2   Identify and apply strategies and tools to manage the research process such as accessing and managing information.
3   Develop skills to determine and manage the processes of different forms of academic publishing and disseminating their knowledge academically.

2. Attending at least 70 percent of lectures is mandatory.
