Course Objective |
This course will focus on theories of corporate governance. The course will cover corporate governance practices under different market conditions around the world. Parts of corporate governance mechanism; boards of directors, the ownership structure, role of CEO and management, control mechanisms will be discussed and the impact of each on firm performance and value of the firm will be discussed. Ethical issues, governance for sustainable business and related policy issues will be part of the discussions. |
