Course Objective

This course is a directed independent study and/or research in a problem area selected by the student and not otherwise provided for in a regularly scheduled course. This course considers the following issues: how to develop an argument; how to participate in a conference; how to write a conference paper; how to publish in journals. The student have to gain approval from the course instructer for the independent study topic.
