Course Objective

This course aims to create 3D original and unusual, innovative clothing forms with the draping method, which is one of the methods of creating clothing patterns.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to prepare basic body forms in three dimensions on a draping mannequin,
2   Ability to work on the designed model on a draping mannequin,
3   Ability to make model trials on a draping mannequin with alternative materials,
4   To be able to present creative, innovative and aesthetic models,
5   Ability to transfer a designed model to a two-dimensional mold after creating it on a draping mannequin

1. It is compulsory to attend 80% of the course.
2. Any attempt to plagiarize and result in actual disciplinary action.
3. Not attending the course will not be considered as a valid excuse for late submission of homework and projects.
