Course Objective

The course aims to,
Ensure understanding of the relationship between production/operations management and other business functions
Ensure understanding of the importance of production/operations management in business and its role in order to gain competitive advantage.
Inform about production/operations management decisions and various approaches and techniques used in these decisions.

1   Learning Scope of Production/Operations Management Decisions and core concepts,
2   Able to Analyse production and service systems and these systems strategies,
3   Understand the qualitative and quantitative methods that be used in production and operations management
4   Apply these methods to solve the problems about production and operations management
