Course Objective

The aim of the course
Teaching how to use camera, lights and studio equipment in a creative and safe way.
Organising groups which included 3 students per each and make them to shoot their project in studio

5   ability to arrange setting of camera,light and filter necessary to film a scene
6   ability to organize a cinematographic setting in productions of documentary clip, advertisement, drama etc.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Courses
The teacher directs the students to create a project and demands them to use the cases
studied.
Films that can inspire the project will be screened and esthetics and scenes will be
analysed.
During the stage of studio practices and homeworks , samples from students works will
be screened each week at the first and last hour of the class to participants of the
course. Participants involvement in discussions will be encouraged.
Practice
At the stage of the actual shooting of the project, students will be informed about the
method they should use.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

1. students will write a shooting script and willmake aproject in a genre of his/her
choice.
2. Students will be able to plan the cinematographer s contribution to the film.
3.Students grades will depend on:
a) presence in course
b) quality of answers given by the student to questions asked by teacher and his/her
involvement in inclass activity.
c) Student s contribution in creating a positive learning milieu.

Assessment Criteria

Participation, understanding and skills in fulfilling the demands of project and
homework practices will be taken in consideration.

Course Policies and Rules

1.student must participate in 70% of the classes
2.Homeworks and projects must be submitted in time regardless to the participation in
the classes.
3.Grades will be decreased for each day project submission is delayed
