Course Objective |
The aim of the course is to enable learners to explain and evaluate major US foreign policy issues since the World War II. After introducing US grand strategies in making foreign policy, main issues in US foreign policy during the Cold War will be studied. Then we will focus on several critical issues after the Cold War such as September 11, nuclear program of Iran, intervention in Afghanistan, so on. |

1. The learners will clearly explain history of US foreign policy, US grand strategies, major American foreign policy issues, current controversies and how US foreign policy has changed over time. |
