Course Objective

Civilisation notion and presentation ofmeainnotions of civilisation, people's physical
and cultural change before history and at historic periods and this change's effect of
present day. Humanity's civilisations are examined, Mediterranean, Mesopotamia, Egypt,
Far East, India, Middle America (Aztek-Inka), Middle Asia Steppe Civilisations and West
Civilisation (Europa, America)

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to learn the characteristics of Greek and Roman art
2   To be able to learn the important developments and events in the history of civilisations
3   To be able to learn the characteristics of Egyptian civilisation
4   To be able to learn the basic foundations of civilisations
5   To be able to understand the concept of civilisation and culture.
