Course Objective

Determining a road map of singing pedagogy and developing a theoretical conceptualization of the impact and evolution of singing voice.
Having and using the knowledge from different aspects (function, development and health of the human voice) in order to have conscious evaluation and application skills.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Is able to have knowledge about the anatomy and physiology of human voice
2   Is able to have knowledge about the core elements of singing voice (primal sound, breathing, posture) and practical application
3   Is able to make vocal exercises for professional voice
4   Is able to develope a higher consciousness level of singing as a profession through restructuring correct behaviours and preventive manners to problems concerning vocal health and performance issues.
5   Is able to manage voice and breath coordination

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Learning and teaching methods: Reinforcements for basic knowledge about singing profession by auditory and visual samples. Using the scientific knowledge of the art (aims of a given vocal exercise, meaning of how to do it, and expected results, etc.) and developing the causal link in between.
