Course Objective

Teaching the point (toe point exercies) technique from Intermediate Level Technique of classical ballet method and develop, gain the artistic skills at the undergraduate level. In this course, while Intermediate Level Technique exercises on the point technique are taught in the girls class; balance, turning and jumping movements in the curriculum are given for the boys class.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students can get to know their body in terms of Intermediate Level Technique / Point technique with various warm-up and strengthening exercises.
2   Students can understand the Intermediate Level Technique / Point of ballet exercises and steps.
3   Intermediate Level Technique / Point exercises.
4   Students can perform in different musical temps of the Intermediate Level Technique / Point steps.
5   Students can apply the use of breath correctly according to the characteristics of the movements.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The proper techniques regarding Intermediate in ballet will be taught by the instructor through exhibiting the movements in class, which should then be followed by student participation to aid the learning process.
For the subsequent course, Intermediate Level Technique and Point courses are prerequisites.
