Course Objective

Bringing the basic pratical skills relating to a string instrument for composition dept. Students.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   the students can define theoretical knowledges relating to the string instruments as violin, viola, violoncello and double bass.
2   They can score basic knowledges regarding to bow and tie usage.
3   They can play the basic bow techniques.
4   They can play a basic piece composed for a string instrument.
5   They can compose for string soloists or string chamber orchestras.

A written and/or practical examination will take place during the period of education. A student will get 100% of the total achievement score by these examinations. The questions will include the topics which applied in the class.
