Course Objective

Industrial processes to produce printed work in the technical sense, pre-press, printing techniques and examined under three main headings, including post-printing processes.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To manage the process and prepare a design pre-press printing

3   To manage the post-printing process.
4   To calculate the cost of the printed work.
5   To develop his ability to apply the suitable tools to improve design.

Course Contents

1 Why look at the history of printing technologies and printing processes are needed
2 Basic types of industrial printing.
3 Letterpress and silkscreen.
4 Gravure, Flexo and offset printing, web-offset printing.
5 Digital printing and finishing extras.
6 Printing terminology: Tram, Pantone, assembly and so on. How to print a chart prepared by the product
7 Midterm Exam
8 A printer tour.
9 A color separation studio tour.
10 A photographer studio tour.
11 A paper manufacturing factory tour
12 Preparation for printing graphics production software.
13 Wastage of paper account and the installation.
14 Final exam.

Lecture, Seminar, Discussion, Question & Answer, Observation, Field Trip, Demonstration, Practice, Practice practices through
course is based on the work conducted in the laboratory. Seminars for the publication of the product introduced a graphic design techniques,
samples are examined, one with a technical visit to the steps shown in the application.
