Course Objective

It is aimed to explaine the significance of critics institution for art and photography art. The criticism and interpretation methods will be explained at the theoretical level and the differences will be evaluated. The role of criticism in the development of the art of photography will be presented through examples.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1-Will be able to analyze photos by methods of criticism and interpretation disciplines
2   2- Will be able to discuss developments related to photography art and related artistic evaluations
3   3. Will have ability to use iconographic analysis skills
4   4. Can read photographic texts by sociological method
