Course Objective

To give knowledge about working procedures and troubleshooting of auxiliary machinery (pumps, air compressors, purifiers, OWS, sewage units, refrigeration units, incinerators, steering gears etc.) in detail.

1   Knowledge in components and working principlesof auxiliary machineries.
2   Learning maintenance procedures of various auxiliary machineries.
3   Having knowledge on the design requirements of ship auxiliary machineries.
4   Having knowledge about necessary calculations in auxiliary machinery operations.
5   Understanding the failures of ship auxiliary machinery and produce the necessary solutions.
