Course Objective

To give information about basic statics, lattice structures, strength, center of gravity and swimming center with the course.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understanding of concepts involved in statics
2   Ability to construct free-body diagrams and to calculate the reactions necessary to ensure static equilibrium.
3   Ability to analyze distributed loads
4   Knowledge of internal forces and moments in members
5   Ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems in engineering and related fields
