Course Objective

To learn cellular and molecular mechanism in toxicology, research methods, chemicals that cell injury, various poisonings, action mechanism of antidotes and antimetabolites, acute and chronic toxicity

1   1. To define the toxicology , to express the fields and history of toxicology
2   2. To learn the concepts of toxic dose and side effects, to distinguish dose-response relationship.
3   3. To evaluate the risk in toxicology
4   4. To apply the toxicity assessment methods in experimental animals, to relate to prediction of toxicity in human
5   5. To relate with toxicokinetics and toxicodynamics
6   6. To define the molecular mechanism in toxicology
7   7. To interpret the specific organ toxicity
