Course Objective

The objective of this course is to introduce advanced macroeconomic topics such as growth models, consumption models, investment models, new trends in macroeconomic theory and policies in a global economic framework.

1   Know macroeconomic concepts.
2   Learn different macroeconomic models.
3   Understand business cyle models, closed economy one period models, economic growth models.
4   Learn the outcomes of different economic policies on national income, price level and employment level.
