Course Objective

To provide knowledge about attitude to athletes, common athlete injuries, physiotherapy
techniques and practice skills in assessment and treatment of athlete injuries.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student may define different prosthetics components for higher activity levels.
2   The student may define prosthesis for appropriate activity levels.
3   The student may conduct assessment and evaluations to determine activity level and appropriate prosthesis and orthosis
4   The student may define and conduct amputee rehabilitation and prosthetic orthotic training.
5   The student may follow relevant literature and advanced laboratory studies.
