Course Objective

In this course, the development of the nervous system and the processing of mechanisms intended to work at the cellular level.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have advanced knowledge about cells of nervous system, their development, organization and multiplication
2   To have advanced knowledge about neurotropic factors, neural gene expression, glial cells and ion channels
3   To have advanced knowledge about stimulation and transduction at nerve system
4   To reach scientific information by literature scanning and interpret them
5   To be eligible to make oral and written presentation

Advanced information about cells in the nervous system, their development, organization, replication, neurotrophic factors, neural gene expression, glial cells, ion channels, the nervous system stimulation and transduction will be evaluated by exams, and oral and written expression skills and access to scientific knowledge by literature scanning and interpretation of it will be assessed by homework
