Course Objective

This course aims to teach evidence based, comprehensive and up-to-date information in perinatology, and nursing approaches, theory and practice.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. To be able to discuss the concepts of perinatal medicine and perinatology nursing.
2   2. To be able to array invasive and non-invasive methods used in perinatal diagnosis.
3   To be able to synthesise the factors effecting the development of the fetus in intrauterine period and current diagnosis methods with nursing knowledge.
4   To be able to comment on evidence studies in the field of perinatal medicine and perinatology nursing
5   5. To be able to use and examine the problems in the field of perinatology nursing scientifically.
