Course Objective

This practice course ensures the students to acquire information, skills and experience in planning a nursing care by interviewing in-depth with one of the patients in patient groups related to their thesis topics in the practice process in surgical diseases nursing and in conducting preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative nursing cares by integrating the evidence-based knowledges and care interventions into the practice.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students plan and manage the nursing care in the patient group related to the thesis topic
2   They follow preoperative, intraoperative and postoper in a case related to the thesis topic.
3   They convey the evidence-based knowledges and care interventions that they learned into the nursing care.
4   They analyze the data of the patient, diagnose the problems in advance and determine the priorities.
5   They apply the patient safety principles during clinical practice
6   They are sensitive towards legal and ethical issues during clinical practice
7   They reach to new information and maintain their personal developments during clinical practice.
