Course Objective

To be able to design research by determining the hypothesis, problem, sub-problems, to decide appropriate method and appropriate data analysis in the field of music education, to apply the designed research, to report the applied research with the appropriate literature review and links to be established, to know and apply the ethical principles to be followed during research and reporting.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Designing research in the field of music education by determining the hypothesis, problem, sub-problems, appropriate method, appropriate data analysis.
2   Conducting research in the field of music education
3   Scanning the literature related to the field and connecting with the research to be done
4   Preparing a report in accordance with the appropriate criteria regarding the research carried out
5   Compliance with ethical values during the research phase.
6   Complying with ethical values at the reporting stage.
7   Evaluating and interpreting the researches in the field of music education
