Course Objective

In this course, it is aimed to introduce the concept of inquiry in mathematics education, to examine inquiry-based mathematics teaching, to investigate argumentation studies in mathematics education, and to examine teachers' duties in these processes.

5 Examine inquiry-based mathematical tasks in the literature
6 Examine inquiry-based mathematical tasks in the literature
7 Develop inquiry-based mathematical tasks in the literature
8 Midterm exam
9 Introducing the concept of argumentation in different disciplines from Toulmin to today
10 Argumentation process and its components in mathematics education
11 Examine similarities and differences of the studies regarding argumentation process in the national and international field
12 Examine similarities and differences of the studies regarding argumentation process in the national and international field
13 Examine the studies determining teacher actions in the argumentation process
14 Plan and implement argumentation process appropriate to mathematics education
15 Final Exam
