Course Objective

The aim of this course is to create awareness for protecting the environment, and to understand eco tourism is a good alternative for the sustainable tourism -continued well-being of local people, who know the responsibility of natural areas- and offer an alternative to mass tourism.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Know the concepts of sustainable tourism and eco tourism
2   Recognize properties of sustainable tourism and eco-tourism
3   Know that eco tourism is a good alternative for sustainable tourism.
4   Analyze the importance of protected areas in terms of the development of tourism and the country.
5   Identify problems of eco-tourism and in protected areas and produce solutions.
