Course Objective |
The objective of this course is to examine the international human rights mechanisms for the protection of human rights. International human rights law practice emerged following the World War II and developed rapidly. For the protection of human rights, various mechanisms have been constituted within the framework of the United Nations which is an international organization and the European Council, the Organization of American States and the African Union that are regional organizations. Some of these protection mechanisms are treaty based while others are non-treaty based. Within the scope of this course, it's aimed that the studens will be able to comprehend the said institutional and the case law developments. |
