Course Objective |
To learn the etiopathogenesis, genetic and neurochemical components in etiopathogenesis of psychotic disorders especially schizophrenia. Concordantly reviewing neurochemical mechanisms underlying behavior and thoughts, clinics of schizophrenia, psychosocial and psychopharmacological treatments, the assessment of cognitive functions in schizophrenia. |

The knowledge of the neurochemical components of behavior; etiopathogenesis, genetic and neurochemical components in etiopathogenesis of psychotic disorders; psychosocial and psychopharmacological treatments of schizophrenia, the assessment of cognitive functions in schizophrenia will be evaluated by mid-term and final exams. |
