Course Objective

To give information about the history and advancement, and functions of human resource management and to introduce the competency based human resource management approach.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to define the basic concepts of Human Resource Management.
2   to discuss the historical process from the personnel managemet dating bact to the competence-based Human Resources
3   to analyze the basic functions of the Human Resources Management function
4   to recognise for human resources, tools such as job descriptions, competency maps, testing, evaluation forms
5   to recognize Human Resources Management practices in the industry
