Course Objective

To introduce the students to what the obligations of the parties are in labor law in general and to ensure that they know the main points in the face of disagreements between the employee and the employer regarding the protection, change, or interpretation of the wages and working conditions to be encountered by explaining the main characteristics and the elements of the termination of the employment contract. It is to provide detection and solutions to the encountered situations.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to determine what the worker's obligations are
2   Being able to learn the employer's obligations arising from the employment contract
3   Informing about temporary termination, job security, and reemployment
4   To be able to examine the termination of the Employment Contract
5   To be able to learn the concepts of change in working conditions and termination of change
6   To be able to determine the establishment, validity, and termination conditions of employment contracts in general
7   To be able to examine the situation that will arise at the stage of the demand for wage and labor receivables.
8   To be able to use the legislation and information related to Labor Law

10 Lawsuits for termination, reemployment, and termination for just cause
11 Labor trial process and jurisdiction of labor courts

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Exams and presentations, reinforcing what is explained with practical solutions, ensuring the participation of the students in the lesson by teaching the lesson in the form of questions and answers, examining the decisions of the Court of Cassation, and teaching the students about the relevant legislation.
