Course Objective

This course involved of theoretical studies on strategic management and planning concepts will be made within the scope of analysis applications in the public sector and will try to determine how it should behave in the decision-making process of public officials.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To picture out the necessary knowledge about the development process up to the strategic management approach since traditional management.
2   Describe the relationship between strategic planning and ensuring efficiency in resource use.
3   Evaluate the situation in terms of strategic management and planning regulations made in the public management approach
4   To criticize the current practices in terms of strategic management and planning of public institutions
5   To bring proposals for public officials in terms of strategic decision-making process.
