Course Objective

To teach the change and reasons for the changing political and social structure of Europe after the Coalition Wars. The change of political regimes in Europe; To evaluate the transformation of monarchies into constitutional monarchies and the conditions for the emergence of liberal democracy.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learns the concept of the Age of Revolutions that opened with the French Revolution.
2   To knowledge information about Coalition Wars and the Restoration process.
3   19th century Understands the conditions and effects of revolutions.
4   Understands the development process of democracy in Europe.
5   Understands the historical reasons for political conflicts in Europe.
