Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to achieve a necessary understanding of newspapers and writers who are important in the history of Türkiye, laws about media, the Turkish press from the Ottomans to the Republican Era, the social, political, and cultural developments and media, the contemporary media.

2   The reasons of the important events in the history of Turkish media
3   The interpretation of the events and facts in the history of Turkish media
4   The comparison of the events in the history of Turkish media with the history of media in the world
