Course Objective

To learn the oral history method as a different historical research method in interdisciplinary studies in historical research and to carry out application studies.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learns the process of deciding on the choice of oral history method.
2   Learns the preparations to be made before oral history research. Learns questioning techniques and identifies their differences from the interview method.
3   Learns and applies the important stages during the oral history interview.
4   Learns the method of storing records and evaluating research findings.
5   Learns oral history archives, learns the method of use of oral history archives.
