Course Objective |
This course aims to introduce students to different dimensions of politics of international migration. First, the course will provide a conceptual and theoretical understanding of the field in its historical context. Following the discussion of international migration actors and policies at various levels, the course will focus on various features of international migration policy which are under debate, such as the securitization of immigration and immigrant incorporation. |
