Course Objective |
This course aims to introduce students to the international role and external relations of the European Union in world politics amongst other foreign policy actors. The course will start with conceptual and theoretical analysis of EU s foreign policy actorness and proceed with an extensive overview of the historical background of European Political Co-operation to the foundation of Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), the focus will be put on the institutional and legal analysis of the CFSP, the foundation of European Security and Defense Policy (ESDP), EU s external relations and external policies under the light of the recent developments that are hot on the debate. |
